The 2010 CABEC Conference, themed "Rising to New Standards", is focused on getting CABEC members up to speed on the recently adopted 2008 Title 24 energy code. Although we are still working on agenda specifics, we expect to include the following topics:
- Detailed differences between the 2005 and the 2008 energy code.
- How those differences affect how you use your compliance software.
- A roadmap to what's happening with California's energy code and energy conservation programs.
- State, federal, and utility incentives available to your clients.
- Details on California's HERS II legislation and how it may affect your business.
- Green certification programs and how they work with Title 24.
- A preview of important energy efficient technologies and developments.
In addition, we’ll have exhibits, special events, and great networking opportunities. More details and presenter specifics will be posted to this site when available. Stay tuned!
MEALS NOTE: Breakfast is included for all attendees staying at the Embassy Suites Hotel. Lunch is included May 6 & 7. Dinner is included May 7 at the Madonna Inn. The hotel (Embassy Suites) has a complementary happy hour every evening that includes light snacks.
